Why LOVE is essential
Chevonne is very affectionate, and like lots of toddlers she has boundless energy but will also love to stop and calm down with a cuddle from those who love her.

Chevonne is learning to manage her feelings through emotional connections with the important people in her life. Interaction with relatives and family friends is important for everyone.

Chevonne and children her age use their face, voice and body to communicate. It's important to try to understand Chevonne's reactions and respond to her. When this happens, Chevonne feels safe, valued and confident.
